Taking headshots for a client can be such a personal and fun experience. A headshot is your first introduction to your business. I was pretty excited when Maria requested some for her personal business!

Being a small business owner myself, I understand how important it is to present a good image forward.

Marketing and for brand recognition is huge! So often getting my own headshots can take time to settle in and get comfortable. Maria was an instant natural!

My goal was to give her as many options as possible during this session. We tried out a variety of locations in the park and backgrounds.

Maria was looking to expand her business in the near future so giving her options to use throughout her website was so important.

We had such a good time finding different backdrops and different poses to giver her as many options as possible for her business!

Maria was such a good sport since everytime I said we were done, I would spot a different location to try out.

This was my first time shooting at Bill Yeck Park down in Centerville and I had such a good time getting to explore this meadow and surrounding paths. I will definitely be back to do more family sessions down here!
